Bierhaus is an independent beer brand founded in 2010. After more than a decade in the market, the brand felt the need to rethink its identity — what they had no longer represented them. At Garra Estudio, we carried out a comprehensive rebranding process to update both their visual and verbal universe, aligning it with their true personality.
We started the project with market research, analyzing both the national and international context. We identified a clear opportunity: the brand needed to strengthen its essence and connect with a new generation of consumers.
From there, we defined a new tone of voice, developed a brand archetype, and wrote a manifesto that captured its core values. The result: a Bierhaus that is irreverent, contemporary, and authentic. A new story where the bear —a long-time symbol of the brand— becomes the true protagonist.
Visually, we chose to keep the bear as the main symbol, updating its form and refining the typography of the logo. The beer labels were completely redesigned, focusing on bold, solid colors, modular systems, and an aesthetic that reflects the brand’s straightforward and bold character.
We redesigned the entire graphic system of the Tap Room located at their brewery in Martínez, including signage, menus, and internal communication pieces. The packaging was rethought from scratch, based on the new brand concept — a brand that is strong, clear, and full of personality.
